It's my first post on the training log! I'm starting this log to help keep me accountable for my training for the half marathon. Today will be a tough day to get out there - it's cold, rainy and windy and I'm feeling tired and under-the-weather. I've got plans to go out later and an early day at church - do I really want to spend 2 hours walking today?
But, as always, my inspiration is the hours of treatments all the patients we are walking for had to go through - is walking 2 hours really that hard? If I can raise money to help prevent those grueling hours for someone else, then it's all worth it.
So, today - 7 miles!
